Nic Fellini

Mathematics PhD candidate working in Number Theory.

About

I am a PhD student in the Algebra and Number theory group at Queen’s University working with Professor Ram Murty.

My research interests are in number theory, and in particular, problems arising at the interface of analytic and algebraic approaches to Diophantine Equations. Primarily, I am interested in understanding the arithmetic of algebraic/motivic objects through their associated L-functions. Two areas of particular interest are:

    (1) L-values, particularly the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture.

    (2) Reciprocity laws and the modular approach to Diophantine equations.

I am on the job market for the academic year of 2026-2027.
