Privacy Policy for NextTrain

NextTrain ("the app," "we," "us") is an offline local-train timetable and
journey-planning app for Mumbai, Delhi and Pune. This policy explains what data
the app handles and why. We have tried to keep it honest and simple, because
the app collects very little.
NO ACCOUNT, NO PERSONAL DATA
NextTrain has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts. We do not ask for or
collect your name, email address, phone number, or location. The app does not
track where you are or where you travel.
DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE ONLY
Your settings — such as your selected city, saved places (Home, Office, etc.),
and recent searches — are stored locally on your device only. This information
never leaves your phone and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. Removing
the app deletes it.
CRASH AND ERROR REPORTING
To fix bugs, the app uses Sentry (a crash-reporting service) to send us
diagnostic information when the app crashes or hits an error. This includes
technical details such as your device model, operating system version, app
version, and the error's technical stack trace. It does not include your name,
email, or IP address, and we deliberately remove app-navigation details that
could reveal the stations you searched for. This data is used solely to

FEEDBACK
If you choose to send feedback from within the app, the message you write is
sent to us (via Sentry) so we can act on it. Please don't include personal
information in feedback unless you want to share it.
ADVERTISING
NextTrain may display ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and
its partners may collect and use certain data, including your device's
advertising identifier, to provide and personalize ads and measure their
performance. You can control ad personalization and reset your advertising ID
in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads). Learn how Google uses this

DATA SHARING AND SALE
We do not sell your data. We do not share personal data with third parties
except the service providers named above (Sentry for crash reports, Google
AdMob for ads), acting on our behalf to run the app.
CHILDREN
NextTrain is a general-audience travel utility and is not directed at children
under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
DATA RETENTION
Crash and feedback data is retained only as long as needed to diagnose issues
and is handled under Sentry's retention policies. On-device settings remain
until you clear them or uninstall the app.
YOUR CHOICES
- You can opt out of personalized ads and reset your advertising ID in your
device's settings.
- You can clear the app's local data at any time from your device's app
settings, or by uninstalling the app.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top
reflects the latest version.
