Here at NEXT, we work at the intersection of engineering and translational biology. Our research spans device physics, including micro- and nano-fabrication, 2D materials, nanoparticles, and analog circuit design, as well as cell- and genome-based biotechnology, such as surface chemistry, single-cell multi-omics, etc. Broadly speaking, our efforts are directed toward developing next-generation platforms for clinical diagnostics and therapeutics, along with bioelectronic systems for multifunctional medical applications.
We are always excited to welcome passionate graduate and undergraduate students, as well as postdoctoral researchers, to join our interdisciplinary research efforts. Prospective candidates with strong motivation and creativity are encouraged to reach out to Prof. Kim at taehyunkim (at) korea.ac.kr with their CV and a concise statement of research interests.
