NextLink Pty Ltd developed the MyLocal app as a location-based service provider. To provide the core functionality of the app, we require access to your device's location information.

1. Data We Collect While using the MyLocal app, we may collect and process information about your actual location, including:

Precise location data (GPS and network-based).

Approximate location data (IP-based).

2. How We Use This Data This location data is used strictly to provide and improve the services offered within the app, specifically:

To pinpoint your current position on a map.

To calculate the distance to and display the nearest facilities, including public toilets, EV charging stations, fuel stations, hospitals, and defibrillators.

To provide navigation or directions to these chosen services.

3. Data Storage and Sharing

On-Device Processing: In most instances, location data is processed locally on your device to show nearby points of interest.

Service Providers: We may share location coordinates with third-party mapping providers solely to render map tiles and provide navigation.

No Sale of Data: NextLink Pty Ltd does not sell your location data to third parties or use it for targeted advertising.

4. User Control You can enable or disable location services at any time through your device settings. However, if you disable location access, the MyLocal app will not be able to provide its core functionality of finding nearby services.

AI Processing and Image Data Practices

Foru AI uses secure, third-party AI networks (including Google Gemini and Groq) to provide image analysis features such as food tracking, routine building, and cosmetic skin logging. When you upload or take a photo, the standard 2D image is transmitted using secure HTTPS encryption to these external endpoints solely for stateless, real-time processing. Foru AI does not collect, access, or track any biometric data, facial recognition identifiers, or TrueDepth camera mesh data. All image transmissions are temporary and transactional; no user images are stored on our servers, retained by third parties, or used for machine learning model training. Your data is completely wiped from processing memory immediately after the analysis response is generated.

PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: December 16, 2025

1. Retention Statement: Foru AI does not retain, host, or collect face data on external servers.

Policy Quote: "Foru AI does not permanently retain, harvest, or store facial images, face data, or biometric identifiers on any server networks or remote cloud storage environments controlled by the developer."

2. Purpose for Storing: Used only at the user's explicit command for side-by-side local progress logging.

Policy Quote: "Any image assets containing facial features are processed solely to provide users with visual comparison histories and chronological logging metrics to map general cosmetic surface tone uniformity."

3. Storage Duration: Stored strictly on-device. It remains as long as the app is installed and is never stored indefinitely on external developer databases.

Policy Quote: "All logged visual assets are stored locally and exclusively within the application sandboxed storage on the user's physical device. Data remains strictly on-device for the duration of the user's operational use of the software and is entirely deleted if the app is uninstalled."

4. Third Parties Shared With: Google Gemini and Groq API endpoints.

Policy Quote: "...user-selected images are transmitted using secure, encrypted HTTPS protocols directly to our processing infrastructure vendors: Google Gemini and Groq APIs."

5. Reason for Sharing: To run real-time, transactional analysis on superficial cosmetic appearance attributes at the user's request.

Policy Quote: "Images are shared with these designated platforms for the sole purpose of programmatically evaluating standard, superficial 2D pixel attributes (such as surface redness or layout uniformity) to return automated routine tips..."

6. Third-Party Storage Practices: Third-party services operate statelessly and do not store or retain data.

Policy Quote: "The third-party API services (Google Gemini and Groq) process all inbound network transmissions in an entirely stateless environment. These third parties do not store, retain, or log your images or face data, nor do they utilize user-submitted imagery for machine learning model training."
