The pit is an old quarry just south of Boulder, about 2kms south of the airport, 10 mins drive
When does the project start?
When does the project start?
Many aboriginal elders, industry segments and stakeholders have been informed or met with onsite, permission from the leaseholder has been granted, there's been only positive support and no objections so far. The project starts onsite mid 2025. Some small items we had in the pit were stolen so we will be looking at securing the site asap or getting the project to a point where there are always people caretaking onsite. The site may not be open to the public for some time while the walls and edges are scaled, meshed and shotcreted etc and bunds improved at the floors near walls etc. Sign up to the newsletter to be kept up to date!

How can I or my organisation get involved?
This site will be regularly updated as will the Google spreadsheet on the Home page. Progress will also be shared via the newsletter so please sign up to that and share this site with friends and people you think would like to be involved. The window to be a ledgendary founding supporter, or to at least indicate interest in being involved, will be short, probably until the end of 2025.

All ages above 13, if under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. All abilities will eventually be catered for. No entry to the pit without an induction, closed shoes, bike or mining helmet etc. Check the Google sheet on the Home page for details.

There wont be much going on if it's really hot, best times of the day are dawn and late afternoons, over summer.
