NEW THIS YEAR!!

We’re excited to announce that we will be offering volleyball clinics in 2026!

These weekly, one-hour sessions will be designed to provide athletes with targeted, age-appropriate, and skill-specific instruction. Each clinic will focus on building strong fundamentals, improving technique, and developing a deeper understanding of all aspects of the game. Whether athletes are new to volleyball, athletes looking to continue building their skills or club players looking to take their game to the next level, these clinics will offer a supportive and engaging environment to help them grow and thrive.

We’re putting the final touches on the schedule, age groupings, and registration details, and we look forward to sharing more information soon. Stay tuned!

Hello NextGen Volleyball Academy Families,

We’re excited to share that we’re adding new volleyball clinics to our programming!  Our first upcoming clinics will take place on:

 Thursday, February 26 and Thursday, March 5

 Location: Brooklin Village P.S. - 25 Selkirk Dr, Whitby, ON L1M 2L5

We’ll be offering two one-hour sessions on each date:

 6:00–7:00 PM – Players in Grades 3–5

 7:00–8:00 PM – Players in Grades 6–8

These clinics are a great chance for athletes to build skills, gain confidence, and get extra reps in a fun and supportive environment.

Cost: $30 per player (for the one-hour session) Spots Available: Only 8 players per session. Athletes can sign up for one session or for both.

Grayson Hefford is very happy to be starting NextGen Volleyball Academy and continuing to provide high-quality instruction to Durham students in a fun and supportive environment. Grayson is the Principal at Scott Central P.S. in Uxbridge and previously worked as both a Physical Education teacher and Vice Principal at Dr. Robert Thornton P.S. Throughout his years at Thornton, he coached numerous successful volleyball and basketball teams at both the junior and intermediate levels, winning multiple Durham and Provincial Championships.

NextGen Volleyball Academy will be operating out of Brooklin schools during the weeks of July 6th and 13th. We emphasize the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and spirit to support athletes at every level. Campers benefit from excellent coaching provided by experienced Durham teachers and coaches. Individual attention is given to each athlete, focusing on fundamental skills, team strategies, and advanced techniques.

Competitively matched interleague play, tournaments, and camp championships help motivate athletes and test their competitive drive. The latest training techniques are integrated throughout the program.

Each camp includes over 30 hours of instruction, and all campers receive a team shirt and a personal evaluation. Awards and prizes are presented on the Friday of each camp week.
