This privacy policy describes how NexTabs (“the extension,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when you install and use the Chrome extension published by NexRunner Works.

NexTabs is a browser extension built by NexRunner Works. It helps you manage tabs with a vertical sidebar, workspaces, search, and related navigation tools. We do not require an NexTabs account for core use.
NexTabs provides:
Vertical tabs in Chrome’s side panel, with an optional in-page rail on sites you visit
Workspaces to save, switch, export, and import sets of tabs
Optional cross-device workspace sync through your browser’s built-in sync
Tab grouping, Quick Search, session restore / time-travel style rewind, keyboard hints, gestures, and an optional custom new tab page
The extension runs in your browser. Feature details may change as we ship updates; this policy focuses on how data is handled.
Most extension data is stored locally in Chrome storage on your computer (and, when you turn on workspace sync, in your browser sync account). Typical examples:
Settings and UI preferences (theme, shortcuts, rail options, and similar)
Workspace definitions (saved tab sets, names, and related metadata)
Notes, muted URLs, snapshots, and other tab-manager state needed for the UI
Local flags such as onboarding or prompt dismissal
Tab titles and URLs are read and shown in the side panel, rail, Quick Search, workspaces, restore flows, and related UI so the extension can manage your tabs. That processing happens in your browser for those features. We do not operate a NexTabs backend that receives your browsing history for analytics or advertising.
If you enable workspace sync in settings, workspace-related data (such as tab URLs and titles in saved workspaces) may be written to chrome.storage.sync. That uses your browser’s built-in sync (for example Google sync on Chrome when you are signed in with sync enabled). NexRunner Works does not host that sync payload and cannot see it. You can turn sync off in the extension settings; clearing sync data follows your browser’s sync and storage controls.
We do not sell your personal or browsing data.
We do not include a third-party analytics SDK in this extension.
Core use does not require creating an account with NexRunner Works.
We do not use your tab contents to build advertising profiles.
If you email us for support, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message (and normal email metadata). We use that only to respond and improve the product.
On pages you visit, the extension may inject content scripts and related helpers for:
Keyboard click hints
Mouse / rocker gestures and scroll shortcuts (when enabled)
The optional in-page vertical tab rail
Navigation helpers such as peek / glance, which may use declarative network rules in your browser to adjust framing headers for that feature
Page content touched for those features is processed locally in your browser. It is not uploaded to NexRunner Works servers as part of those features.

You can review or revoke extension permissions in Chrome’s extension settings.
Google / your browser vendor: Chrome (or another Chromium browser) stores extension data locally and, if you enable sync and browser sync, may sync chrome.storage.sync data according to that vendor’s policies.
Chrome Web Store: Installation and updates go through Google’s store. See Google’s policies for store account and review activity.
AddonUp / NexRunner Works sites: Links in the extension may open https://addonup.com/extensions for product information. Visiting those pages is subject to that site’s ordinary web practices; the extension itself does not embed third-party ad or analytics networks for core tab management.
We do not sell or rent your data to data brokers.
NexTabs is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support email, contact us and we will delete it from our correspondence where reasonably possible.
We may update this privacy policy when the product or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the extension after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes may also be noted in the extension changelog or store listing when practical.
