Next Step Habit Tracker("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Next Step Habit Tracker collects the following information:
Habit Data: Your custom habits, including habit names, emojis, colors, completion status, and streaks
Account Information: Email address and authentication data (when you sign in with Google Firebase Authentication)
Notification Preferences: Your reminder settings (enabled/disabled status and preferred reminder time)
Usage Data: App interaction data to improve functionality
Device Information: Device type and operating system for compatibility purposes
We use the collected information to:
Provide and maintain the Next Step Habit Tracker app functionality
Sync your habit data across multiple devices
Display your habit tracking progress and statistics
Improve app performance and user experience
Send streak reminders and motivational notifications (if enabled)
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services:
Firebase Authentication: Manages user accounts and login
Firebase Firestore: Stores your habit data with encryption
All data transmission is encrypted using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS)
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties
Next Step Habit Tracker uses the following third-party services:

Google Play Services: For Android app functionality
We retain your habit data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
You have the right to:

Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Export your habit data
Opt-out of notifications at any time through app settings
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To do so:
Email us at implenest@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
Include the email address associated with your account (if applicable)
We will process your request and permanently delete all your data within 30 days
You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
Note: Once deleted, your habit data cannot be recovered
Alternatively, you can delete individual habits within the app at any time. Uninstalling the app will remove all local data from your device, but data stored in Firebase will remain until you request deletion via email.
Next Step Habit Tracker offers optional daily reminder notifications:
Notifications are completely optional and disabled by default
You must explicitly enable notifications and grant permission through your device settings
Notifications are scheduled locally on your device — we do not send push notifications from external servers
Your notification preferences (enabled/disabled, reminder time) are stored in your account to sync across devices
You can disable notifications at any time through the app settings
No third-party services track or process your notification data
Next Step Habit Tracker is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
Next Step Habit Tracker does NOT collect:
Location data
Contact information beyond email
Payment information (all payments are handled by Google Play Store or Apple App Store)
Social media data
Biometric data
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. By using Next Step Habit Tracker, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States and other countries where Firebase servers are located.
