Next Model Rocket Privacy Policy

Next Model Rocket (“NMR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Connor Schermerhorn. This Privacy Policy explains what information Next Model Rocket collects, how that information is used, and the choices available to users.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you create a Next Model Rocket account, we collect:
• Your chosen username
• A unique account identifier
• Authentication credentials necessary to secure and access your account
Next Model Rocket uses an internally generated email-style identifier for authentication. The app does not ask for or collect your personal email address, phone number, or physical address during normal account creation.
Passwords are processed through our authentication provider and are not displayed publicly.
Profile and agency information
If you create a personal or agency profile, we may collect:
• Display name or agency name
• Username
• Biography or agency description
• Profile and banner images
• Agency membership and role information
• Profile visibility settings
Information designated as public may be visible to other Next Model Rocket users.
Rocket, mission, and test information
We collect information that you choose to create or upload, including:
• Rocket names, descriptions, specifications, status, and images
• Mission and test names
• Launch or test dates and schedules
• Launch-site or test-site locations
• Target altitude
• Mission status and results
• Agency associations
• Visibility settings
Launch-site and test-site information describes the location of a rocket activity. Next Model Rocket does not use this information to determine or track the current location of the user or the user’s device.
User content
We collect content that users voluntarily provide, including:
• Profile, banner, rocket, mission, and test images
• Biographies and descriptions
• Feedback submissions
• Agency collaboration and membership requests
• Other text or content entered into the app
Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the rights necessary to upload and share their content.
App activity
We may store activity required to provide app features, including:
• Missions or tests a user follows
• Agency memberships and collaboration activity
• Account relationships with rockets, missions, and tests
• Content visibility and sharing preferences
We do not use this information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
• Create, authenticate, and maintain user accounts
• Synchronize information between a user’s devices
• Display profiles, agencies, rockets, missions, and tests
• Support public and shared mission information
• Enable mission-following features and notifications
• Enable agency collaboration
• Store and display user-uploaded images
• Respond to feedback and support requests
• Maintain the safety, reliability, and security of the service
Service Providers
Next Model Rocket uses Supabase to provide cloud authentication, database storage, synchronization, and media storage.
Information sent to Supabase is processed for the purpose of operating Next Model Rocket. We do not authorize Supabase to use this information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
The app may also use Apple services such as MapKit and system notification services. Information processed independently by Apple is governed by Apple’s applicable privacy policies.
Weather requests may be sent to Open-Meteo using the coordinates of a selected launch site. These coordinates describe the launch site, not the user’s current location.
Next Model Rocket may provide links to external websites. Information submitted directly to those websites is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Public Content
Content marked as public may be visible to other users. This can include:
• Usernames and display names
• Profile and agency information
• Profile and banner images
• Rockets, missions, tests, and related images
• Mission schedules, statuses, and locations
Do not make information public that you do not want others to view.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information.
We do not use collected information to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
• Operate the app through service providers
• Protect the security and integrity of Next Model Rocket
• Investigate misuse or violations
• Comply with applicable laws or valid legal requests
• Protect the rights and safety of users or others
Data Retention
We retain account information and user-created content for as long as necessary to provide the service or until the account or content is deleted.
Certain information may remain temporarily in backups or system logs. We may retain information for longer when required by law, necessary to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce our agreements.
Account and Data Deletion
Users can initiate account deletion from within Next Model Rocket:
Settings → Profile Settings → Delete Account
Deleting an account is intended to delete the account and associated personal data, including cloud-hosted profile information and user-generated content, except where retention is legally required.

Only publish the paragraph above after the app actually deletes the Supabase Auth account and all associated Supabase records and media.
Children’s Privacy
Next Model Rocket is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
International Processing
Information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where the user lives. By using Next Model Rocket, users understand that information may be processed where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
Your Choices
Users may:
• Edit their profile and user-created content
• Control applicable content-visibility settings
• Unfollow missions and tests
• Delete certain user-created records
• Initiate deletion of their account
• Contact us with privacy questions or requests
Privacy rights may vary depending on the user’s location.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Next Model Rocket’s features or data practices change. The updated policy will show a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or other appropriate means.
