#NextGenEdu is a network where educators, learners, and others across the system come together to make sense of what’s unfolding—and of each other—build trust, and work toward the future of education - collectively.
There is often no shared sense of where education is heading—leaving efforts disconnected.
New ideas and approaches often struggle to take root within existing structures and cultures.
Inequities persist—shaping who gets access, opportunity, and voice, both within education and beyond it.
And too often, efforts focus on conveniently measurable outputs rather than meaningful, long-term change.
But perhaps the deeper challenge is this: The people closest to these realities rarely have the space to come together to make sense of them—not only with one another, but with those who have the influence to shape what comes next.
We are not a project or a programme.
We are a network—built through relationships, shaped by those who participate, and grounded in honest reflection.
People come together here to make sense of what’s unfolding, build trust across different parts of the system, and begin shaping the future of education.
A few principles shape how we try to practice this work:
Mission, not organization — We are guided by the work that needs to be done, not by the priorities of any single institution. We support what serves the mission—even when it sits beyond us.
Node, not hub — We are one among many working across the system. Our role is to connect across the ecosystem and contribute to a shared direction.
Trust, not control — We invest in relationships and shared understanding, knowing that trust—not structure—is what enables meaningful collaboration.
Humility, not brand — We try to keep ego out of the work, and create space for others to lead, contribute, and shape what emerges.
