NexPG Privacy Policy
Effective date: 25 August 2026
Last updated: 25 August 2026
NexPG (NexPG — Past NEET PG Ranks) is an educational reference app by DocodexLabs. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not operate a NexPG login server that stores your profile in our cloud.
Most information you enter (name, rank, favourites, filters) stays on your device. The free version shows Google AdMob ads, which may collect data under Google’s policies. Premium is a one-time purchase handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. If you open Google Maps, email, or a website from the app, those services handle data under their own policies.
By installing or using NexPG, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
App name: NexPG (store listing: NexPG — Past NEET PG Ranks)
Developer / Data controller: DocodexLabs
Contact email: docodexlabs@gmail.com
Website: https://www.nexpg.docodexlabs.com
NexPG is a NEET-PG counselling explorer and analytics application that helps users understand counselling allotments, cutoffs, and rank trends using publicly available counselling data. It is intended for educational and informational purposes only and does not conduct counselling or allot seats.
NexPG is an independent educational app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by:
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)
National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS)
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India
NexPG is available on both Android (Google Play) and iOS (Apple App Store).
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how NexPG handles information, contact us at the email above.
This Privacy Policy applies to the NexPG mobile application on Android and iOS, and to related support communications you send to DocodexLabs about the app.
It does not apply to:
Third-party websites or apps you open from NexPG (for example MCC, state counselling portals, Google Maps, email apps, or app stores)
Google, Apple, or other platform providers’ own data practices beyond what is described here as integrated services
Please read those third parties’ privacy policies when you leave NexPG.
3.1 Information you provide in the app (stored locally on your device)
NexPG is designed to work without creating an account and with minimal personal data. Within the app you may optionally enter and save preferences using local storage (SharedPreferences / on-device app storage). This may include:
Profile (optional): Display name, NEET-PG rank, category (Open / OBC / SC / ST / EWS), domicile state — used to personalise Home, Rank Lookup, and Seat Explorer
Favourites & shortlist: Saved institutes, courses, notes — your bookmarks inside the app
Search & filter preferences: States, courses, categories, rank ranges, quota filters, last viewed screen — restores your last session and recent choices
App settings: Dark/light theme, selected year/round, disclaimer acceptance — controls app behaviour and UI
Premium status flag: Whether Premium features are unlocked on this device — enables ad-free mode and Compare
We do not require your real name, phone number, email address, Aadhaar, or any government ID to use NexPG.
This information:
Is stored only on your device
Is used solely to personalize your experience
Is not uploaded to our servers (NexPG does not operate a backend server for user accounts)
You can edit or delete this information at any time from within the app.
3.2 Information collected by third parties (when you use certain features)
Google AdMob (advertising — free version only)
If you use NexPG without Premium, the app displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect or receive information such as:
Device identifiers (Advertising ID / IDFA / GAID where applicable)
IP address (approximate location)
App activity related to ad delivery and measurement
Device type, OS version, language, and network information
This helps show and measure ads. Premium users do not see in-app ads through NexPG’s ad placements.
On iOS, in accordance with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, NexPG will request your permission before allowing AdMob to access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking. You may decline this request, and the app will continue to function. If you decline, only contextual (non-personalised) ads may be shown.
You can limit ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Google → Ads; iOS: Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising).

AdMob & advertising technologies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Google Play / Apple App Store (in-app purchase)
When you buy or restore NexPG Premium, payment and purchase verification are handled entirely by Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS).
DocodexLabs receives confirmation that a purchase or restore succeeded (through the store’s billing APIs). We do not receive your full payment card or bank details. Those are processed by Google or Apple under their policies:
Google Play: https://policies.google.com/privacy
External apps and websites (only when you choose to open them)
NexPG may open external services when you tap a link or action, for example:
Google Maps — institute address sent as a map search query
Email apps — if you choose Feedback, your email app opens with a pre-filled message to docodexlabs@gmail.com; we only receive what you choose to send
Web browser — official sites such as mcc.nic.in, nbems portals, or reference links in About
System Share sheet — if you share allotment lists or shortlists; the recipient and content are your choice
NexPG does not store map usage history inside the app. Location is not read from your device GPS for in-app features; Maps opens externally with a text address search.
Automatically collected platform information
NexPG itself does not collect personally identifiable user data. However, certain technical information may be collected automatically by the operating system or app distribution platforms:
Android (Google Play): Device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, and diagnostic information (managed under Google’s privacy policies)
iOS (Apple App Store): Device diagnostics, crash data, and app usage information (managed under Apple’s privacy policies)
NexPG does not currently include analytics SDKs such as Firebase Analytics.
3.3 Public counselling data
The primary content of NexPG comes from publicly available NEET-PG counselling documents, such as allotment lists and datasets published by official authorities like MCC (https://mcc.nic.in/pg-medical-counselling) and NBE (https://natboard.edu.in/).
These datasets typically contain examination ranks, institutes, courses/specialties, categories, and counselling round allotments. NexPG processes these publicly available documents only to enable searching and analysis within the app. The app does not attempt to identify or profile individuals using this data and does not display candidate names.
3.4 Information we do NOT collect
NexPG does not, by design:
Require account registration or sign-in
Collect passwords
Access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera
Read your SMS or call logs
Track live NEET-PG counselling sessions or real-time allotment feeds
Sell your personal information to data brokers
Counselling reference data (2024/2025 All India ranks and cutoffs) is bundled in the app or loaded from app assets — not fetched from a DocodexLabs user database.
Any information entered into NexPG is used only for the following purposes:
Personalization
Display your saved profile information
Pre-fill filters such as state or category
Provide quick access to relevant rank analysis
App functionality
Process local counselling datasets
Display rank lookup results
Generate cutoff summaries and institute comparisons
Unlock ad-free experience and Compare feature (Premium)
Other
AdMob data (via Google) → Display and measure ads in the free version
Store purchase data (via Google/Apple) → Verify Premium purchase and restore
Support emails you send us → Respond to feedback, bugs, or policy questions
NexPG does not:
Sell personal information
Share profile data with third parties
Use profile data for targeted advertising
Provide medical advice, admission guarantees, or official counselling services
Depending on your region:
Performance of a service: local storage to provide app features you use
Legitimate interests: improving the app, preventing abuse, supporting purchases
Consent: where required for advertising or optional communications you initiate
Legal obligation: responding to valid legal requests where applicable
DocodexLabs does not sell your personal information.
We share information only in these situations:
Service providers / platform partners — Google (AdMob), Google Play, Apple App Store, as needed for ads and billing
When you direct us — e.g. you email support or share content via your device’s share sheet
Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
Business protection — to enforce terms, prevent fraud, or protect rights and safety
We do not share your on-device profile (rank, name, favourites) with advertisers as part of NexPG’s own backend — because NexPG does not upload that profile to DocodexLabs servers.
All profile information entered in NexPG is stored locally on your device in the app’s private storage. Counselling datasets are stored as read-only application data used only for search and analysis.
NexPG does not maintain cloud databases or remote servers for storing user data.
Retention
On-device preferences & favourites → Until you clear app data, uninstall the app, or reset the device
Premium purchase record (on device) → Until app data is cleared; can be restored via Google Play / App Store
AdMob / store logs → Governed by Google / Apple retention policies
Support emails → Kept as long as needed to resolve your request and for reasonable business records
Android note: NexPG is configured with allowBackup="false" to reduce unintended cloud backup of app data; behaviour may still depend on your device and OS settings.
Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to an offline-first reference app:
Sensitive profile data stays on your device
Premium is verified through official store billing APIs
No DocodexLabs user account database for routine app use
Potential risks may include physical access to your device, device backups performed by iOS (iCloud) or Android, and diagnostic logs collected by the respective app distribution platform.
No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Please protect your device with a screen lock and keep your operating system updated.
You can remove your stored information by:
Editing or clearing fields in the Profile section
Uninstalling the app (which removes all locally stored data)
NexPG may display advertisements using Google AdMob (free version only). Premium users do not see in-app ads.
NexPG does not share user profile data with advertisers.
See Section 3.2 above for full details on data collected by AdMob and how to control tracking preferences.
NexPG relies on certain third-party services to operate the application. These may include:
Google AdMob — Used to display advertisements on both Android and iOS
Google Play Services (Android) — Used for application distribution, diagnostics, crash reporting, and in-app purchases
Apple App Store Services (iOS) — Used for application distribution, diagnostics, crash reporting, and in-app purchases
These services operate under their own privacy policies:
