Nexadecimal LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Dr Storytime mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of children who use our App. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable privacy laws.
2.1 Minimal Data Collection
Dr Storytime is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information necessary to provide the service.

- Subscription payments are processed entirely through third-party services (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat)
- We do not collect, store, or process credit card information or payment details
- Payment information is handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat in accordance with their respective privacy policies
- We may receive transaction confirmations and subscription status information from these services
COPPA Note: For children under 13, subscription purchases require parental approval through App Store/Google Play parental controls. Device identifiers and transaction data collected by RevenueCat may be considered "personal information" under COPPA. This collection is necessary for subscription management and is handled in accordance with COPPA requirements through parental consent mechanisms provided by Apple and Google.
2.3 Device Information
- We may collect basic device information (device type, operating system version) necessary for app functionality
- This information is used solely to ensure compatibility and optimize app performance
COPPA Note: Device identifiers may be considered personal information under COPPA. We collect this information only as necessary for app functionality and do not use it for advertising or tracking purposes.
2.4 Usage Information
- The App may collect anonymous usage data (such as which stories are accessed) to improve the service
- This data is aggregated and anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual users

We do NOT collect:

- Photos or videos

- Browsing history or search queries

Dr Storytime is designed for children. We are committed to protecting children's privacy and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
5.1 We Do Not Collect Personal Information from Children
Important: We do not directly collect, receive, or have access to personal information from children under 13.
- We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information from children
- We do not direct third-party services to collect personal information from children beyond what is necessary for subscription management
- Any information collected by third-party services (RevenueCat, Apple, Google) is collected by those services directly, not by us
- We do not receive or have access to personal information collected by these third-party services
5.2 Third-Party Services and COPPA
Subscription purchases are handled entirely through:
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store: These platforms have their own COPPA-compliant processes and parental controls. Parents must approve purchases through their device account settings.
- RevenueCat: Manages subscription transactions. RevenueCat may collect device identifiers and transaction data as necessary for subscription management. This collection is handled by RevenueCat directly, not by us. We do not receive or have access to this information.

5.3 No Behavioral Advertising
We do not use behavioral advertising or track children across websites or apps. We do not use cookies or other tracking technologies for advertising purposes.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect information:
- Payment information is not stored on our servers
- Subscription data is stored securely through RevenueCat and platform providers
- We use industry-standard security practices to protect any data we handle
6.2 Local Device Storage
The App stores some information locally on your device:
- Downloaded Stories: Audio and image files are stored on your device for offline access. These files remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.
- Reading Progress: Information about which stories have been read is stored locally on your device. This information is not transmitted to our servers.
- App Settings: Your app preferences are stored locally on your device.
This local data is stored in the App's data directory and is deleted when you uninstall the App. We do not have access to this local data.
6.3 Third-Party Data Storage
Subscription and payment information is stored by third-party services:
- RevenueCat: Stores subscription transaction data in accordance with their privacy policy
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Store payment and subscription information in accordance with their privacy policies
We do not store, access, or have control over this third-party data. For information about data retention by these services, please review their respective privacy policies.
6.4 Data Deletion
Since we do not collect personal information from users, there is no personal information for us to delete.
- Local app data (downloaded stories, reading progress) is deleted when you uninstall the App
- To delete local app data without uninstalling, you can clear the App's data through your device settings
- For subscription data stored by third-party services, please contact those services directly
7.1 General User Rights
You have the right to:
- Access information we hold about you (if any)
- Request deletion of your data
- Manage your subscription through your device's account settings
- Contact us with privacy concerns
For EU Users (GDPR): If you are located in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. 7.2 Rights for Parents of Children Under 13
If your child under 13 uses our App, you have the following rights under COPPA:
