About This Competition
WRO (World Robot Olympiad) is a robot competition that occurs annually. Its purpose is to bring together young passionate people from more than 65 countries all over the world and allow them to develop their creativity, design & problem-solving skills through challenging & educational robot activities. The part that makes this competition unique is that every robot that is used to compete in this competition has to be created using LEGO Mindstorms which is manufactured by LEGO Education so the competitors would be able to come up with many different designs for their robot.
Why We Wanted To Join
Many of us have participated in WRO before in the past years and we felt that we have learned many skills from this competition so we would like to participate in WRO2022. We all decided to join the Robo Mission because we wanted to practice building, coding, and solving problems using our robot. From many years of competition and a very experienced coach we were able to push through and won the competition with most of the teams 1st or 2nd and a very nice badge & medal award for all of us plus certificates for participating & winning in the competition.
