Dr. Anuradha Annaswamy is the co-director of the Chinmaya Mission Boston (CMB) - Newton Chapter. She and her husband Srini are long term residents of Newton and have been associated with CM Boston for the past 30 years. She has been a Bala Vihar teacher for most of this period, and has been co-organizing the Newton Chapter activities along with Sumana Rao since 2014. 

Her three children are all graduates of CM Boston. She is extremely grateful to Pujya Gurudev and Shashiji for bringing her into the CM Boston family and making her Sundays enormously meaningful. 

Dr. Anuradha Annaswamy has held faculty positions at Yale, Boston University, and MIT, and is currently serving as the Director of the Active-Adaptive Control Laboratory and a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT.  Her research encompasses automation and optimization in complex engineering systems in energy, aerospace, and urban mobility.
