App Activity & Preferences: The App stores your saved (bookmarked) articles, preferred news categories, and display preferences locally on your device. We do not transmit or store this personal preference data on our servers.
Network Traffic: To provide you with the latest news, the App connects directly to public RSS feeds (e.g., BBC, The Hindu, Science Daily) from your device.
To provide advanced AI-powered summaries and news categorization, Newsogram utilizes the Google Gemini API.
When you request a summary or when the app categorizes incoming news, the article text (headline, description, and content) is sent to Google's servers for processing.
No personally identifiable information (PII) is sent alongside these requests.

The App requires the following permissions on your device:
Internet Access: Required to fetch news articles from RSS feeds and communicate with the Gemini API for summaries.
Because Newsogram stores your bookmarks and preferences locally on your device, the security of this data is tied to the security of your device itself. We do not maintain remote databases containing your personal data, meaning there is no risk of your data being breached from our systems.
Newsogram does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
