New Philosopher is a student-led initiative that aims to provide publication opportunities for high schoolers. Inspired by Plato's idea of a symposium, we want to make our community open, friendly, and accessible to every student.ย
Philosophy, or any other humanities subjects, is knowledge; we believe that the expression of ideas can maximize the functioning of philosophy. Our passion for philosophy will change the world!ย

New Philosophers Journal aims to offer students an online community that connects students in the US and China to hold philosophical conversations.ย
Our team will translate the work submitted by Chinese students into English essays. An editorial member will be in charge of analyzing and comparing this essay with another essay submitted by American students to highlight differences and foster more diverse discourse.ย
Every publication is free; no fee will be charged.ย
This is a peer-review platform where our editorial team is mainly student-driven. The publication of essays is fully student-founded, and we preserve the originality of every idea!ย
We have local community outreach, currently at Bonita High School and Canyon High School. Your work will be shared with students in those schools, students get involved in China, and our online community.ย
