The New Trends in Oxide Electronics (newOx) Workshop aims to bring together researchers working on functional oxides to discuss emerging directions in the field and identify key scientific challenges for the coming years.

Building on the vibrant international community that has developed around the International School of Oxide Electronics (ISOE), newOx seeks to foster scientific exchange, strengthen collaborations, and help shape the future of oxide electronics.

The workshop will gather around 40 researchers in a residential format at the Institut d'Études Scientifiques de Cargèse, providing a unique environment for discussions, networking, and the development of new ideas.

More information regarding the scientific program will be announced soon. 

Registration is open via the link provided in the invitation email. The €310 registration fee includes accommodation and lunches for the entire duration of the workshop. Payment will be made on site. 

Scientific Scope

NewOx is designed as a forum for exploring future developments in oxide electronics. By bringing together researchers with diverse expertise, the workshop aims to stimulate discussions across traditional boundaries, identify promising research directions, and foster new collaborations within the community. Particular emphasis will be placed on emerging topics that are expected to shape the field in the coming years. The scientific program will cover a broad range of subjects, including:

• Correlated and quantum phenomena in oxides
