Growing up Josh liked to go barefoot anywhere he could. While this led to stubbing many toes and being impaled by multiple sharp objects, it also led to a fascination with the outdoors. Having gone on multiple extended camping trips he got his first exposure to wilderness medicine in the summer of 2012 during a camping advanced first aid course. From there he subsequently went on to get certifications as a wilderness first responder, EMT, and later paramedic, none of which he has maintained to this very day. He recently completed a transitional year residency program at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA and has a gap year until he starts his anesthesiology residency at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
Among Josh's non-medical interests, he has always been fascinated with how different people think, problem solve, and learn. Somewhere along the line he figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to learn how to do these things himself. The following workshop is a result of his sporadic internet deep dives and random 2AM thoughts on the matter. Hope you enjoy.
