CHURCH HISTORY

This church began with a vision from the Lord in 1996. In this vision the Lord gave Our Pastor the name of the church, New Life Word Church.

Phase I

The vision began to unfold in the home of Our Pastor, on February 8. 1998. Worship service was held every other Sunday at 3:00 PM. We were few in number, but the presence and the power of God was in the midst of the services each Sunday. We witnessed as God changed the life of his people.

Phase II

In this phase, New Life Word Church obtained their charter with United Christian Church and Ministerial Association out of Cleveland, Tennessee. Where the late Brother H. Richard hall is the founder.

On September 24, 2000, we dedicated room #3, at Gainesville Revival Center unto the Lord. Sister Anderson’s father, Elder James Williams Jr. was our guest speaker for that day.

We began having Sunday worship every other Sunday at 3:00 PM. Prayer meeting was held every Wednesday at 12:00 noon and children's church was held every other Saturday morning.

Phase III

December 29, 2001, began this step of faith. While attending a tent revival Our Pastor received a word from the Lord. God said that we would receive a church in the month of December. And on January 13, 2002, we held our dedication service at 133 SE 10th Street the home of our new location.

God has truly blessed and he has added to the church such as should be saved.

We obtained our charter with the state of Florida in the month of October 2006, under the name that Our Pastor received in a vision, New Life Word Tabernacle, Inc.

Phase IV

On August 11, 2018, during a meeting with our landlord, we were given a 30 day notice to move. I started dancing and praising because I knew it was the timing of God. On September 5, 2018, God blessed the ministry and we signed our new lease at 2314 NE Waldo Rd. After a few renovations the building became the new sanctuary for New Life Word Tabernacle. We are blessed and know God is going to do greater things.
