After OshCon ran for 10 years (2003-2012) on the UWO campus, the original organizer was ready to call it quits. Some local gaming friends decided that they still wanted to see a convention where they lived. They started NEW Game with their first convention in 2013. With a COVID year in 2020, we celebrated our 10th convention is 2023.

As we've grown over the years, we've moved around on the UWO campus. In 2013, we started at the Gruenhagen Conference Center where OshCon left off, we moved into the Reeve Union second floor ballroom in 2018, and in 2019 we made the leap into the Culver Family Welcome Center.
