Murphy
Our family had an incredible experience getting our puppy through Newfound Acres! We are past Newfoundland owners and after losing our last boy this past spring we knew it was time to add a bear back to the family! The timing was perfect and the family at Newfound Acres couldn't have been more accommodating (we live about 15 minutes away) and they allowed us to come and meet the puppies, pick our puppy, and visit our puppy several times before bringing him home. Being a previous Newfoundland owner we were no stranger to puppy training and adjustment to new families- but when I tell you our sweet little boy couldn't have been more adjusted, I mean it! Newfound Acres took incredible care of their puppies, working on potty training, crate training/ desensitization, and most importantly giving them a great amount of attention and love! The family at Newfound Acres loves their Newfoundland like family, she is such a sweet Mama and a well mannered dog, and it shows in the personalities of their puppies. Additionally, Jesi took the time to complete all genetic testing for Mom and obtain Dads records and provide us with all health information they had. She also made adorable “goodie bags” for our puppy to take home including; dog food, treats, AKC and vet paperwork, a toy, and a blanket with Moms scent on it to help with his transition. Overall I couldn't recommend a better breeder or experience for adding our sweet boy, Murphy, to our family!

We worked with Jessica to get our Newfoundland puppy from Newfound Acres, and it was an awesome experience. Our dog is healthy, beautiful, and well-tempered. She is 8 weeks old and seems to already understand that she’s supposed to go to the bathroom outside! She’s also doing great with our toddler, which is probably due to all of the exposure she had with kids at Newfound Acres. Communication leading up to and following pickup was easy and very informative, and Jessica and her team are reliable and trustworthy. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to get a puppy from Newfound Acres!
Tic-Tic
I am starting my review of Newfoundland Acres. Our quest for a Newfie pup took several years. Some breeders wanted a lengthy resume to fill out before they would even contact you. Others made you go through a middle man, which
want a lengthy resume. Others just never responded back. Jessica of Newfoundland Acres called me back promptly.
Now about the breeder, Jessica. It was a fantastic experience. She was so positive and upbeat on every text or phone call. We immediately set up a visit which was about 2 hours away. We really had the pick of the liter, which was 13 puppies!!! We picked the biggest brown one and named him Tic Tic. After that visit Jessica sent us pics and videos of our puppy weekly. I texted her questions every week and she answered them. We were well informed throughout the process. On pick up day, Jessica had a bag of all the papers, chew treats and other information.
The several years journey for us in getting a Newfie had GREAT results when we found Newfoundland Acres and Jessica. We highly recommend her and her Newfie, Lucy.
I failed to mention that Jessica has two young children who were instrumental in helping to develop all the puppies social skills. Thank you everyone.

Max
In early 2025 I was lucky to have stumbled across a listing for Newfie puppies on the AKC site. After some research I found that they belonged to a lovely family. We picked Max up in the beginning of March from Newfound Acres. Jesi was amazing and sent weekly updates before we picked him up and she was a great communicator. He’s a beautiful, healthy, happy, puppy who was ,obviously, well loved and taken care of. Our vet came to the same conclusion. They said he was show ready, though that’s not our intent. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. We found a fantastic puppy from an amazing family!
Duke
We are absolutely in love with our Newfoundland, Duke Sullivan, who we welcomed into our family from Newfound Acres. From the very beginning, the Donnelly family was a joy to work with. They graciously allowed us to visit Duke while he was still with his mother, giving us the chance to bond with him early and prepare for his arrival.
As first-time Newfoundland owners, their guidance was invaluable. It was clear that Lucy and her puppies were raised in a loving, attentive environment. The puppies were well cared for, socialized with children, introduced to early potty training, and nurtured to develop strong social skills, all of which made Duke’s transition into our home seamless.
We are beyond grateful for our Duke and the care he received before joining us. The Donnelly family’s dedication and love for their dogs shine through in every detail. We wholeheartedly recommend Newfound Acres to anyone looking to add a Newfoundland to their family.
