Our Community Safe Zone Program partners with local businesses to create safe spaces for individuals in need of emergency help or refuge. Key aspects of the program include:

• Safe Spaces for Emergencies:
  Businesses provide a refuge for people experiencing crises such as being followed, rape, mental health episodes, abuse, or attack.

• Education & Training:
  Participating businesses receive education, training, and lock-down procedures to respond effectively in emergency situations.

• Resource Directory:
  Businesses are equipped with a directory of emergency services, including rape crisis centers, mental health services, and housing for the homeless.

• Community Responsibility:
  This program encourages businesses to play an active role in community safety, recognizing that safety is the responsibility of everyone in the community.
