About Newcorr Mining & Industrial

Newcorr Mining & Industrial was established in March 2002 by Lynda Lake and William Jarret, combining their extensive industry knowledge and hands-on experience in lifting equipment.

Lynda Lake, recognised as the first female Lifting Machinery Inspector (LMI) in South Africa, brought a pioneering approach to compliance and safety in the lifting industry. Together with William Jarret, they built Newcorr on a clear objective: to ensure the supply, service, and repair of safe, reliable, and fully compliant lifting equipment across a wide range of industries.

From the outset, the business has been grounded in technical expertise, regulatory compliance, and practical industry understanding. This foundation has enabled Newcorr to support clients in mining, engineering, construction, and industrial sectors with solutions that prioritise safety, durability, and operational efficiency.

Over the years, Newcorr Mining & Industrial has evolved beyond equipment supply to offer a comprehensive range of services, including inspection, certification, proof load testing, and custom-engineered solutions—while maintaining the same core principle it was founded on:

Delivering lifting equipment solutions that meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.
