Pastor Bucky was born and raised in Pulaski County. He met Rhonda (Hamilton) while attending Pulaski County High School and married her soon after. They have been blessed with two daughters and four grandchildren. Danielle, Russell and Atlas Ramey, and Sara, Pedro, Mia, Lakyn and Maxx Salamanca.
Pastor Bucky is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God and has spoken at different events, revivals and churches in our state.
He has attended the Newbern Church of God for 21 years and has served in many different capacities within the church including Youth Pastor from 2009 to 2019.
During his tenure as Youth Pastor he oversaw the youth department which grew from around 5 students to an average of 35 to 40 students. Most of the students were brought in weekly from around Pulaski County as part of a van ministry.
In 2019 he transitioned into the role of Senior Pastor and is still serving in this position today.
Pastor Bucky has a heart for the Community and a desire to see people changed through the love of Jesus Christ! He believes firmly that it is our responsibility as the Church to fulfill the Great Commission given to us by Jesus in the book of Matthew 28:18-20.
