Everyone is invited to run at their own level — you will be gently encouraged, but never pushed. We don’t leave people on their own and someone will always stay with you if you happen to be at the back, no matter what session you choose to participate in.

Delivered by our coaches and leaders, the Monday training session is new for 2026. Whether you want to improve your general fitness or work towards that next PB, this session is suitable for all. The focus of the sessions varies from week to week - speed, strength, hill training and more - the meeting points vary from week to week around the Newark area.

Wanting to improve your race times? Or just looking for something a bit different? An all inclusive track session lead by qualified leaders, suitable for all levels from beginners to more experienced runners.
Thursday evenings are the heart and soul of Newark Striders and are an ideal opportunity to make new friends and enjoy a social run in good company! A run of approximately 5km led by qualified leaders in and around Newark. Suitable for all levels from beginners to the more experienced runners.
• Arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the session
• Keep hydrated.
• Wear appropriate clothing.
• Wear appropriate footwear.
• Arrive in High-Vis between the months of October & March
To start with just come along with what you’ve got — trainers, shorts/tracksuit, leggings etc. Lots of layers in colder weather is good, as well as gloves and a hat.
