New school ed is a place for you as a teacher to get help in the places that we know as educators you don't always have the time for. Scaffolding is something that is so key in developing learners in the classroom, but it is hard to take the time to make all the scaffolds your students need.
We are here creating content that is both scaffolded and fun. We have content posted, but we are always making new work. So if there is something that you need please reach out to us and we can partner with you to get the resources you need.

I have been teaching in the classroom for 5 years. As a teacher, I have taught 5th grade and 4th grade. I have taught in person and online. In my classroom, I have students of all abilities and a wide range of diversity. Scaffolding is some of the most important work I do, but it also feels like the most time-consuming. I am very aware of the difficulty it is to create content that reaches the audience of a full classroom. I believe it is so important to allow students a wide range of access to content.
I have worked in a co-teaching school. Alongside my partner in crime, we have created content that has been effective for our students. We have also created work that has not been effective. As many of you know, it truly is trial and error when you work with kids. We adjust, we pivot and ultimately we do the best we can. Some of the content on this page will be tips and tricks for a co-teaching classroom, but a lot of it will be things you can use every day in your classroom no matter the environment you teach in.
