We're celebrating a historic win for children and families across New Mexico. Our state legislature recently appropriated $20 million in funding to support new learning opportunities for youth through afterschool, summer enrichment, and tutoring programs.
This first-ever dedicated state funding for afterschool and summer programs will give thousands of young people access to life-changing learning opportunities—and peace of mind for working families who need support. The $20 million for out-of-school time programming will be divided among local education agencies (school districts, charter schools, regional education cooperatives, and universities), community-based organizations, and tutoring programs.
To help you celebrate this investment and prepare to apply for funding, we've put together these resources—social media content, graphics, and other materials—designed to inform your networks and amplify this announcement.
