Supportive Counseling
We provide a safe place for Seniors to work out their frustrations and disappointments, receive validation, encouragement, and provide support as they go through this unique stage of life with 1-on-1 counseling
Easier Transitions to a New Home
Most have difficulty with change and struggle with life transitions. We provide support during the transitional phase (and beyond) from home living to community living.
Family Therapy
Moving your loved one to a long-term care community could be difficult. Methods of psychoeducation and processing in family therapy could aid in reducing issues that could arise in the family during this time.
How It Works
Once referred to New Light Psychology, we make contact with the individual or guardian and gather basic information. A New Light Therapist will meet you in your home community and create a supportive relationship during the process of an Initial Evaluation. Collaborate with community staff and family and create a treatment plan. Then begin services.
