Singular instantons, S-complexes, and their applications to knot invariants;
Heegaard Floer theory;
The moduli spaces of Yang-Mills connections over Riemann surfaces (following Atiyah-Bott, and also Hitchin)
Geometric analysis on singular spaces with Ricci curvature bounds, including singular Einstein spaces ; and
Higher-dimensional gauge theory such as G_2 instantons and Spin(7)-instantons.
