A few simple guidelines will help keep our events enjoyable for everyone:Â
👉 RSVP thoughtfully. Update your RSVP at least 24 hours ahead (or longer if the event description requests) if your plans change—it helps our hosts prepare and gives others a fair chance to join.
🤝 Arrive on time. Unless noted otherwise, events begin at the listed start time. This is especially important for restaurant reservations—to keep our group’s reputation with local venues strong.
🤗 Support our venues. Please patronize establishments that host our events, thank staff, and tip generously—this helps maintain positive relationships. Even when seated outdoors, please refrain from bringing outside food or drinks to respect the business and health code requirements.
📩 Communicate with us. Life happens! If something unexpected comes up, just message a host so we know what’s going on.
🙋 Bring guests responsibly. Only RSVP with a guest if you have someone specific in mind who has confirmed.
⏳ Waitlists move quickly. Please keep an eye on your status—if you’re moved to “Going,” we’ll expect you to attend. If your plans change, remove yourself from 'going' or the waitlist so others can take your spot.
🌟 Be kind and respectful. Show up with a warm and welcoming spirit. Thoughtful behavior makes this community the safe, supportive, and fun group it’s known to be.
đź’¶ Contribute. Once you’ve attended a couple of events and feel like it’s a good fit, we’d appreciate an annual contribution of $20 (cash, not tax deductible), given with your name to an event host, to help cover Meetup fees and occasional venue costs. As a thank-you, you can opt in for one-way text updates with reminders and last-minute announcements–for the whole year.Â
