They have  reserved the eMTB for 28th and 29th, specifically the Specialized Turbo Levo Carbon for you.  

Please find below a provisional schedule for the trip:

• Thursday 28th:

  • 9:00h bicycle pick-up so they can start the ride towards Sant Feliu.

  • Transfer pick-up at 17:00h at the Sant Feliu bus station.

  • Arrival in Girona around 17:45h.

  • They can leave the bicycles at our office afterwards if they wish, depending on what is most convenient for them.

• Friday 29th:

  • Guided ride from approximately 10:00h to 14:00h.

  • We will prepare a route adapted to their interests, and the day before we will present the different options that may be of greater interest to them.

Cycling day one in the Girona area.

Self guided ride - with € 15 for each  Garmin unit with a GPX track.  Payable on site

Primary route request is the Sant Feliu de Guíxols Greenway which connects to Girona.

Route is approximately 39.7 km each way.

Mountain E bikes required.

Bikes must be suitable for light gravel riding.

Route should avoid busy roads as much as possible.

BIKE RENTAL SERVICE IN GIRONA

Will be provided by a highly qualified local business  that is located just 1 km away from Palau Fugit, so you can just walk to the pickup point. 

When you are  finished with a the ride, the provider will provide you with a charger and take the bikes to Palau Fugit that is able to keep them for you.  If you prefer you can choose to leave the bikes at the bike shop where they will take care of recharging them.  

For the desired use , where you will  do one day of gravel riding and one day of greenway riding, they would suggest one of the 2 eGravel options above: The Turbo Vado SL or the Turbo Creo SL, one with flat bars and the other one with drop bars, as per the picture below.

If you prefer to go self-guided, you can hire a Garmin unit with a GPX track for just €15 per Garmin.

The costs would be as follows:

• € 360 EUR for 2 bikes for 2 days

• € 270 EUR per day for guiding services.

• € 25 per person for the transfer from Sant Feliu de Guíxols back to Girona. Payable on site

They will pick you up at the port at 12:00 (I moved it to 12 from 11:30 to be safe with time), where your guide will meet you and begin a city ride with historical commentary, proceeding along the seafront bike lane in Cádiz and joining EuroVelo 8 toward the Natural Reserve of Bahía de Cádiz, where you may see wildlife such as flamingos, continuing across the saltlands to San Fernando for a break before returning to Cádiz, with the full tour lasting approximately 3 hours on mostly flat, smooth, hard-packed gravel roads using gravel bikes or hybrid e-bikes (not e-MTBs).

The XC Tour: This is a descent-based tour on trails and gravel, exactly like our YouTube videos. It’s perfect for those who want a scenic, active ride without heavy technical difficulty.

The Enduro/DH Option:  for advanced riders looking for high-performance, technical trails (Enduro/Downhill), we would need to switch to this category to provide the right equipment and logistics. Since they mentioned "trail and gravel," the XC tour seems to be the right fit, but it's best to confirm.

Route:  Madeira’s mountains

• Bike transport: This refers only to the transport of the bicycles to the agreed starting point and collection afterwards. It does not include guest transportation from or back to the ship.

• Tour timing: The start time depends on what time the clients arrive and what time they need to be back on board. Once we know these timings, we can confirm the best departure time.

• Tour duration: The total duration of the tour is approximately 3 hours, including stops.

• Cancellation / refund policy: I asked (as I do with all) if they would refund in case the ship does not make it to port. Here is their response: Unfortunately, we do not offer last-minute refunds in case of itinerary changes or missed port calls.

Starting from the port there are no trail routes that they  can do. 

They  can do the tour around Palma and the bike lane by the sea. It will last 3-4 hours and will use our Trek Verve Ebikes.
