Nevada (NV) Professional Engineer Practice Course

In Nevada, professional engineering is regulated by the Nevada State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists. The board is responsible for ensuring that engineers are qualified to practice and that they adhere to ethical standards of conduct. To practice in Nevada as a professional engineer, you must be licensed by the board.

The Nevada State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists issues licenses to candidates who meet the following criteria:

Have earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution or a related field from an accredited institution

Passed the FE exam within two years of applying for licensure

Completed four years of qualifying experience under the supervision of a professional engineer
