Animal Ag Day

Animal Ag Day is a committee that was developed to educate members of the community about animal agriculture and the importance of safety while handling various species of animals.

Currently this committee is working together to plan activities and educational sessions for 7th and 8th grade students. This event is scheduled for April 2, 2019.

Past Committee Events:

In 2017 the Animal Agriculture Committee went to the classrooms of Second Grade Students. During this visit, the committee shared a variety of engaging activities for the students to participate in. A few of the activities included; a milking simulation, animal paper plate designing, mixing feed rations as a snack, a vaccination activity, and an eye spy animal identification game.
