Nevada (NV) Polygraphic Examiner and Intern Practice Course
About the Service:
The Nevada Polygraphic Examiner and Intern Practice Course is a two-day course designed to provide the necessary knowledge base for law enforcement officers and other criminal justice professionals to conduct polygraph examinations. The course also provides training in the administration and interpretation of polygraph examinations as well as the recognition of physical and psychological indicators that may be present during an examination. In addition, this course provides instruction on the preparation of reports following polygraph examinations.
The Nevada Polygraphic Examiner and Intern Practice Course is designed to meet all requirements for Nevada's Polygraphic Examiner certification, including:
Completion of a minimum of 120 hours of practical experience under direct supervision of an experienced examiner who is qualified by education and training;
Completion of a minimum of 32 hours of classroom instruction in polygraphy given by an instructor certified by the American Polygraph Association;
Successful completion of the certification examination given by the American Polygraph Association;
