I was born in the Mediterranean city of Valencia, Spain
Since I was a teenager, I have always been interested in natural phenomena with a special interest in meteorology and extreme weather events. Curiosity made me enroll in the degree of Physics at the University of Valencia (UV), Spain. During the last two years of my degree, I was focused on atmospheric physics and remote sensing. When finishing the degree of Physics I joined the Laboratory for Earth Observation (LEO) group at the UV, having then the opportunity to be immediately involved in the research world.
Most of my work during my PhD years was dedicated to the FLuorescence EXplorer (FLEX) mission from ESA; which I have greatly enjoyed.
In May 2018, I finished my PhD becoming then a postdoc researcher at the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) in Helsinki, Finland. Last September I started with the FluoSYN project, a personal postdoc project funded by the Finnish Academy of Science and hosted by the FMI.
