We are looking for capable students and post-doctoral scholars to join the lab. The lab is a great opportunity for students to build experiments from the ground up, and to guide exciting projects with high degrees of flexibility and responsibility. Interdisciplinary projects in the brain sciences require skills from the fields of molecular biology, neuroscience, phyics, optics, and data science, so we will always seek applicants with a wide variety of skill sets to advance our research. Prospective applicants will mostly fall into the following categories:
Prospective graduate students to OUHSC should apply through the GPiBS program (with emphasis in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Physiology, or Neuroscience) or to the Cell Biology Program. Please email the lab contact before applying to hear more information.
Graduate students currently at OUHSC seeking a rotation through the GPiBS program should email the lab with a CV or a summary of recent research experience.
Prospective postdoctoral scholars can apply through this ad, or directly email the lab contact with a CV and a statement of research interests and how those interests fit with the lab direction.
Technicians - We are seek technicians to support a range of molecular biology and data collection in the lab! Apply through Requisition number 240746 at OU Taleo (or by going to OU jobs, clicking on “external applicants” or “current OU Employees”, and searching for 240746).
Undergraduates currently in the Oklahoma City area should email the lab with a statement of research interest that includes relevant coursework and future research plans. Applicants to the OUHSC REU should outline a research timeline in the inquiry.
