My research focuses on the brain immune-lymphatic axis as an emerging regulatory system that shapes the onset and progression of neurodegenerative diseases. I believe that a deeper understanding of this interconnected communication network will provide a critical foundation for developing the next generation of therapies for neurodegenerative disorders.
My research interests center on the choroid plexus (ChP), particularly its role in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) production and brain homeostasis. With a background in pharmacy from Chosun University, I joined Professor Jin-Hui Yoon’s lab, drawn by his work identifying previously unrecognized pathways of CSF drainage to the extracranial lymphatic system. My research aims to elucidate the physiological mechanisms governing CSF production and regulation.
Hello, I am Minsong Kim, an undergraduate student majoring in Industrial Artificial Intelligence at Sungkyunkwan University.
I am interested in understanding how cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) dynamics and sleep contribute to brain health. Building upon the knowledge established by previous researchers, I hope to ask better questions and pursue meaningful discoveries. My goal is to become a researcher who leaves behind an idea or insight that inspires future studies.
