Wing loading is an important parameter that determines flight characteristics.

Wing loading in its fundamental sense means how sensitivity the aircraft to the gust.

For low  wing loading, one feels like to be "flown away" by the gust.

For high wing loading, one feels like one can "boldy overcome" the gust.
