NeuralKey AI Keyboard ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Android keyboard application (the "App").

By installing and using NeuralKey AI Keyboard, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.

1. Data We Collect and How We Use It

Because NeuralBoard AI is an Input Method Editor (IME) keyboard, it requires access to the text you type. We handle this data with strict limitations:

• Standard Typing Data (Processed Locally): When you use the keyboard for standard typing, your keystrokes are processed locally on your device to provide autocorrect and predictions. We do not log, store, or transmit your passwords, credit card numbers, or standard conversations to our servers.

• AI Features (Improve, Translate, Tone Rewrite): When you actively tap the "Improve," "Translate," or tone buttons, the specific text you have selected or recently typed is sent securely to our third-party AI provider (Google Gemini API) to generate the response.

• AI Training & Quality Logging: To improve the quality of our AI models, we may log the specific prompts sent to the AI and the generated responses to our secure cloud database (Firebase Firestore). Please do not use the AI features to process highly sensitive personal information.

• Clipboard Data: The App features a local clipboard manager. When you copy text or images, the App reads your clipboard to display recent items for easy pasting. This clipboard history is stored locally on your device in a local database and is never transmitted to our servers.

• Device Identifiers: We collect your Android Device ID to manage your "AI Rewrite" credit balance and prevent system abuse. This ID is anonymized and not linked to your personal identity.
  
  

2. Third-Party Services We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services have their own Privacy Policies. We strongly recommend you review the privacy policies of these third-party service providers:

• Google Play Services: Used for core app functionality. (Google Privacy Policy)

• Google AdMob: We use AdMob to serve rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect and use advertising IDs and device data to serve personalized ads. (Google AdMob & AdSense Privacy Policy)

• Firebase (Firestore, Realtime,Firestore, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging): Used to store your app preferences, manage your AI credit balance, and send push notifications about app updates. (Firebase Privacy Policy)

3. Permissions We Request To function correctly and provide a seamless typing experience, NeuralBoard AI requests the following standard Android permissions:

• Bind Input Method (Keyboard Access): Required by the Android system to allow the app to operate as your active, system-wide keyboard.

• Internet Access: Essential for securely transmitting your requested text to our AI provider for processing (rewrites, translations) and for loading rewarded advertisements.

• Post Notifications: Used to send you occasional, relevant alerts about new features, critical updates, or when your AI rewrite credits have been refilled. You can disable these at any time in your device settings.

• Vibrate (Haptic Feedback): Used strictly to provide physical feedback (a small vibration) when you tap a key on the keyboard, enhancing your typing experience.

4. Security

We value your trust in providing us with your data. We use commercially acceptable means, including secure HTTPS encryption, to protect data transmitted between your device and our third-party APIs. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
