Neural Lens is designed to be a privacy-first application:
Camera & Storage Permissions
Camera access is required to capture document images.
Storage access is required to save scanned images and generated PDF files on your device.
All captured images and PDFs remain on your device only. We never upload them to any server.
Neural Engine Processing
Edge detection, image enhancement, and PDF generation happen locally using your device’s hardware.
No document content is sent to us or any third‑party cloud.
To keep the app free, we may display advertisements using Google AdMob.
AdMob may collect and use the following data:
Device information (model, OS version, advertising ID)
App usage data (e.g., which screens you open)
Approximate location (based on IP address)
This data is used to show you relevant ads and prevent fraud.

We use Google Play Services for app stability and basic analytics. These services may collect anonymous device information but do not access your scanned documents.

Because all documents stay on your device, their security depends on your device’s protection (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device updated and using a secure lock screen.
Neural Lens is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
