$10 a tree Start small, add to your total over time. Cover a plane trip, offset your vehicle emissions, give a gift...
An average person needs to plant 28 trees a year to off-set their CO2.
The average Australian emits 14 tonne of CO2 a year.
A tree can hold half a tonne of CO2 after 10 years of growth, 1 tonne after 20, a large mature tree can hold 4 tonne plus.
If you sponsor enough trees a year to cover your CO2, you can be netZero by 2030, then Net positive every year after that. If you were to sponsor double that amount, it will only take you 5 years to be Net zero. If you are lowering your CO2 pollution as well, in little as two years, you could be Net positive. You can make a difference. 5% of all sponsor funds will be donated to groups that are working toward a net zero economy.
We are a not for profit organisation.
A fantastic goal.
A great gift idea, gift NetZero.
If you donate to cover your or someone else's emissions you will receive:
A certificate that states your "toward NetZero". Describing the project.
NetZero Logo Stickers: "toward NetZero 2020", next year will be: "toward NetZero 2021, and so on.
If you are a business, you can have the NetZero logo on your products and stickers on your window. Ask us to calculate your business' carbon emissions. Benchmark for a business is $50 (5 trees) per employee.
