Welcome to the homepage of Connecting Statistical Logic, Dynamical Systems and Optimization. Here you can find information concerning the activities of our interdisciplinary network platform at the University of Konstanz.
Short description
Our network platform combines concepts from computer science and mathematics, including logic, statistics, dynamical systems, and optimization, to address interdisciplinary challenges. It seeks to formulate mathematical descriptions of learning processes and determine the potential and limits of learning from data. Through regular research colloquiums, scientists from various specializations discuss and share ideas, aiming to foster collaborations that can advance the field. Junior researchers are given significant roles in these events.
Please subscribe to our mailing list if you would like to receive regular announcements on our next talks.
Our network platform is funded through the German Excellence Initiative to promote academic dialogue by providing the necessary support structures. The project period lasts from April 2024 to March 2026 (24 months).
