There are no costs associated with Netspend Cards. You can use them to pay for purchases immediately or over time. You can also apply money directly into your Card, which is instant and can take a few seconds or several days, based on the amount of money you have available in your card account
When you receive your Netspend card in the mail, find the activation code on the back, and enter it into your web browser. Then log in to change or update your profile information, set up MyTransactions and choose what bills to pay automatically or manually. You can also provide us with billing address information and verify your identity.
There are 3 ways you can deposit your tax refund into your Netspend account. One way is when you deposit directly from the IRS website, another way is by depositing your tax refund electronically through a third party service such as Automatic Bank Deposit, and the third way is to have your taxes deposited into a checking or savings account.
Direct Deposits are instant. Your deposited funds will settle to your account the same day you deposit them, unless we determine that your transaction may have been fraudulent or unauthorized. You can check the status of your Direct Deposit at anytime by clicking My Account, Deposit History and viewing the payment type as "Direct Deposit."
