The Keynote on Simulating Collective Agency. Emergence and Stability of Autonomy in Horizontal Collective Actors will be given by Prof Johannes Marx.

The first panel will address the Scientific Progress as Result of Scientists’ Interactions for which we were able to secure Max Noichl for “A Network Complement to Case Studies”. The second presentation features Prof. Dr. Liane Rothenberger and Qasim Pasta with their work on “Mapping and impact assessment of phenomenon-oriented research fields: The example of migration research”.

The second panel revolves around Ego-Networks, Individual Perception and Social Comparisonsl. Anna Gebhard will present on “A Network-Based Explanation of Inequality Perceptions”, followed by Eleonora Priori with her work on “The Comparative Political Economy of Network-Based Consumption Emulation”.

The final panel on “Mapping Determinants of Innovation and Growth” will complete our stellar lineup of speakers. Isabel Cavalli will present on “Innovative Academia: French policies impact on universities centrality in patenting collaboration”, followed by Lasare Samartzidis on “Synchronization of Regional Development – Influence of Clusters in the Regional Production Network”. Finally we have Charlie Joyez  with his work on Occupational Relatedeness and the resilience of local labor markets”.
