1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Qzee Game (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and handles information in connection with the NetKey: WiFi Password Manager mobile application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. We encourage you to read it carefully before use.
2. Information We Collect
The App collects only the information necessary to deliver its core features. Here is a breakdown of what is gathered and why:
A. WiFi Network & Device Information
To provide WiFi analysis, signal monitoring, connected device detection, and network management features, the App reads information about your current and nearby WiFi networks. This includes network names (SSID), signal strength (dBm), IP addresses, MAC addresses, and the number and type of devices connected to your network. This information is used only within the App to display results to you and is not transmitted to our servers.
B. Saved WiFi Password Data
The Show Password feature reads WiFi credentials stored on your device by the Android operating system. This data includes network names and their associated saved passwords for networks your device has previously connected to. This information is displayed to you only and is never uploaded to our servers, shared with third parties, or stored outside your device.
C. Location Data
Android requires location permission to scan for and display nearby WiFi networks. We use your approximate and precise location solely to enable WiFi network discovery and the WiFi Map feature. We do not build location profiles, track your movements, or share your location with any third party for purposes other than what is described here.
D. Camera Data
The App uses your camera solely to scan WiFi QR codes, allowing you to connect to a network without manually entering a password. QR scan images are processed on-device in real time and are never stored or transmitted.
E. App Performance Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics to understand how the App is used in aggregate — for example, which features are accessed most often and how the App performs across different devices. This data is anonymized and is not linked to your identity.
F. Advertising Identifier & Device Information
We use the Android Advertising ID (AD_ID) along with general device details such as device model and OS version to deliver relevant ads, measure ad performance, and help our advertising partners detect and prevent fraudulent activity. This is not linked to personally identifying information.
3. Log Data
When an error occurs in the App, we may collect data and information (through third-party products) called Log Data. This may include your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the App at the time of the error, the time and date of use, and other diagnostic statistics. Log Data is used solely for debugging and improving App stability.
4. Cookies
The App itself does not use cookies directly. However, some of our third-party advertising and analytics partners may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and use certain information. You can review each partner’s cookie practices through the privacy policy links in Section 5.
5. Third-Party SDKs Used in This App
NetKey uses the following third-party services to deliver ads, measure app performance, and support core functionality. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy, linked below:
Note: this list reflects the SDKs currently integrated into NetKey. If we add other partners in the future, this section will be updated before that change takes effect.
6. Permissions Used by This App
NetKey requests the following Android permissions, each tied to a specific feature:
Camera — Used to scan WiFi QR codes for quick network connection. Images are processed on-device and immediately discarded.
Precise Location (GPS) — Required by Android to discover nearby WiFi networks and power the WiFi Map feature.
Approximate Location — Used for basic WiFi network discovery when precise location is unavailable or unnecessary.
WiFi State & Change WiFi State — Used to read network details (SSID, signal strength, IP, MAC) and manage WiFi connections including QR-based connects.
Nearby WiFi Devices — Android 12+ permission required to discover and list nearby WiFi networks and devices.
Network State & Internet — Used to detect connectivity status, load app content, display ads, and connect to online services.
Foreground Service & Special Use — Keeps the App running to monitor hotspot activity and display live usage notifications while the app is active.
Exact Alarm — Enables precise hotspot usage limit reminders that trigger notifications at exact scheduled times.
Post Notifications — Used to send hotspot usage alerts, foreground service notifications, and important app reminders.
Write External Storage — Used to save generated WiFi QR code images to your device’s storage.
7. Service Providers
We may engage third-party companies and individuals to assist in delivering the App and its services. These service providers have access to information only as necessary to perform tasks on our behalf and are required not to use or disclose it for any other purpose. Reasons we may engage service providers include:
Delivering and measuring advertising within the App
Analyzing App usage and performance
Diagnosing technical issues and supporting App maintenance
8. Advertising
NetKey is free to use and is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob and its mediation partners, including Pangle, Mintegral, AppLovin, Liftoff Monetize, and Meta. You can review or adjust your ad personalization settings at any time through Google’s Ad Settings page. Ad partners may use your advertising ID and general device data to serve relevant ads; this is governed by their own privacy policies, linked in Section 5.
9. How We Protect Your Information
Saved WiFi passwords and QR scan images are never transmitted outside your device — they are read or processed locally and immediately discarded after use.
WiFi network details (SSID, IP, MAC) are used only to display results within the App and are not stored on our servers.
Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized; it is not linked back to you as an individual.
We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect information that does pass through our systems, though no method of digital storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (GDPR):
Request access to the personal data we hold about you
Ask us to correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data where applicable
Ask us to restrict how your data is processed
Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
Object to processing carried out under legitimate interest
If you are located in California (CCPA):
Ask us what categories of personal information we collect and why
Request the personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months
Opt out of the sale of personal information — note that we do not sell personal information
Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions
Exercise any of these rights without facing reduced service or a worse experience
To exercise any of the above rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond within 45 days of verifying your request, with a possible extension of a further 45 days for complex requests, with notice to you.
11. Children’s Privacy
NetKey is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in that age group. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and remove it promptly, consistent with COPPA and other applicable laws.
12. Data Retention
WiFi passwords, QR scan images, and network details are not retained by us — they are read or processed on-device only and are not stored on our servers at any point. Log data collected for diagnostic purposes is retained only as long as necessary to resolve technical issues. Data processed by our analytics and advertising partners is retained according to each partner’s own retention policy, which we encourage you to review via the links in Section 5.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the App evolves or as legal requirements change. Any updates take effect as soon as they are posted on this page. Continuing to use the App after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay informed.
