Netfree ("Netfree," "the App," "we," "us," or "our") is an informational mobile application that provides details about movies and web/TV series including genre, cast, runtime, IMDb ratings, and information about where a title may be available to watch. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to information in connection with your use of the App, including information that may be collected or processed by third-party services integrated into the App on our behalf or independently of us.
Netfree is made available to users in multiple countries. Because privacy laws differ significantly by region, this Policy is written as a general, worldwide description of our practices. Where a specific law requires additional or different disclosures for users in a particular country or region, Celestial Infotech will supplement this Policy (or maintain a region-specific addendum) as required for the jurisdiction(s) in which the App is actually offered.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
Netfree does not include account creation, sign-in, or user authentication, and does not require you to submit personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number in order to browse movie and web series information.
This does not mean that no information is collected in connection with your use of the App. As described in Section 3, third-party software components ("SDKs") integrated into Netfree — for advertising, analytics, and crash reporting — automatically collect and process certain technical, device, and diagnostic information as part of their own independent operation. Some of this information (for example, advertising identifiers, IP address, and approximate location derived from it) may constitute "personal data" or "personal information" under applicable law, even though we do not directly request or store it ourselves in an account or profile.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some jurisdictions (see Section 8) define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough to cover certain advertising-related data transfers to Google; that possibility is addressed below.
Netfree integrates the following categories of third-party SDKs. Each operates under its own privacy policy and terms, independently of this Policy, and — depending on configuration — may act as an independent controller, a processor, or a joint controller with us for specific data flows.
Netfree may display advertisements served through Google AdMob and/or Google Ad Manager. To select, serve, measure, and prevent fraud in connection with ads, these services and their advertising partners may collect or process:
Advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID / Google Advertising ID, or Apple's IDFA where platform permission has been granted);
IP address and approximate location derived from it or from device signals;
Device information (make, model, operating system and version, language, time zone, screen characteristics);
App usage and interaction data related to ad requests and impressions;
Diagnostic and network-connection information.
Whether ads shown to you are personalized or non-personalized depends on: (a) your consent choices, where a Consent Management Platform (CMP) is presented to you; (b) device-level advertising settings (see Section 12); and (c) whether the ad request has been tagged as directed to children (see Section 4), in which case Google will not serve personalized ads regardless of any consent signal.
Firebase Analytics may collect information about how the App is used — screens viewed, features used, session length and frequency, in-app interactions, device and OS information, general (typically country/region-level) location, app version, and a Firebase Installation/App Instance identifier — to help us understand usage patterns and improve the App.
Crashlytics automatically collects crash and error logs, stack traces, device model and OS version, app version, and device state at the time of a crash (such as free memory, disk space, and battery level), together with an installation identifier used to group and de-duplicate crash reports. This information is used solely to diagnose and fix stability issues.
These SDKs are provided by Google LLC (or its applicable regional affiliate) and operate under Google's own privacy policy, terms, and data-processing documentation, not under this Policy.
For information on how Google uses data from apps that use its services, see Google's Privacy Policy and its "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" page. https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=en-US
The precise legal relationship (controller, processor, or joint controller) between Celestial Infotech and Google for each data flow depends on which products are enabled and how they are configured, and should be confirmed against Google's current data-processing terms.
Netfree provides general informational content about movies and TV/web series that is not inherently adult in nature, and is intended for general audiences. However, because the App does not require account creation or age verification, it may in practice be accessed by users under the age of 13 (or under 16, in jurisdictions such as the EEA/UK where a higher "age of digital consent" applies under data protection law).
We do not knowingly design Netfree specifically to target children, but we recognize that a general-audience informational app of this kind can be used by people of many ages, including children, and that laws such as the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU/UK's child-specific data protection rules require advertising and analytics SDKs to be configured appropriately for any known or likely child audience including restricting personalized/behavioral advertising for such users.
Where Netfree's configuration identifies a user as a child, Celestial Infotech will apply the corresponding technical settings so that personalized advertising is not knowingly served to that user, consistent with Google's policies described in Section 3.1.
A parent or guardian who believes their child has been affected by data processing inconsistent with this Policy may contact us at celestialinfotech2023@gmail.com .
Mobile apps generally do not use browser cookies, but rely on comparable device-level technologies: mobile advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID on Android; IDFA on iOS, subject to the platform's tracking-permission prompt), SDK-generated installation identifiers, and local on-device storage used by the SDKs described in Section 3. On iOS, access to the IDFA for tracking purposes requires the user's affirmative response to Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, to the extent personal data is processed in connection with the App (whether by us or through the SDKs described above), the applicable legal bases may include:
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / equivalent) — generally the basis for advertising personalization, analytics, and other non-essential processing, obtained through a Consent Management Platform;
Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / equivalent) — potentially applicable to narrowly scoped, non-personalized diagnostic or crash-reporting processing necessary to keep the App functioning, subject to a case-by-case balancing assessment; and
Legal obligation, where applicable.
Google and its SDKs may transfer information to, or process it in, countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required by applicable law, such transfers rely on mechanisms implemented by Google, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms then in effect.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights, subject to the conditions and exceptions set out in the applicable law:
EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR / Swiss FADP): rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing; data portability; the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing); and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
United States (California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws): rights to know/access, delete, correct, and — where the relevant transfer of information to advertising partners such as Google is treated as a "sale" or "sharing"/"targeted advertising" under the applicable state law — the right to opt out, together with a right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. As of 2026, roughly twenty U.S. states have comprehensive consumer privacy laws of this kind, and a number of them require businesses to honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser/device signal as a valid, universal opt-out request where applicable.
Other jurisdictions (for example, Brazil's LGPD, Canada's federal and provincial privacy laws, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, Australia's Privacy Act, and other regional data-protection laws): similar core rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection to certain processing may apply, subject to that law's specific scope and thresholds.
Because Netfree does not maintain user accounts, many of these rights are most directly and effectively exercised through:
The third-party SDK providers themselves — principally Google — via their own privacy controls (for example, Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com, or Google's account/privacy tools); and
Your device settings — see Section 12 for opt-out mechanisms available directly on your device.
We will honor legally required rights requests sent to celestialinfotech2023@gmail.com to the extent we hold or control the relevant information, and will direct you to the appropriate third party where we do not.
We rely on reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to an app that does not itself collect or store account-level personal information, and we rely on the security measures implemented by our third-party SDK providers for information they process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Because Netfree does not directly collect or store personal information (see Section 2), we do not directly retain such information. Information processed by third-party SDK providers is retained according to their own retention policies and schedules, which we do not control.
Netfree provides information and links regarding where a movie or series may be available to watch (for example, links to streaming or purchase platforms). These are provided for informational convenience only. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices, content, availability, pricing, or legality of any third-party site or service. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party service before using it.
Depending on your device and region, some or all of the following may be available to you:
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (and/or reset your advertising ID).
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (App Tracking Transparency permission for individual apps), and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → limit ad tracking.
Google Ads Settings: adssettings.google.com.
Industry opt-out tools, where applicable to your region (for example, the Digital Advertising Alliance's WebChoices/AppChoices tools, or the European equivalents), if integrated.
In-app consent/preference controls, where implemented for your region.
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the SDKs we use, or applicable law. We will update the "Last Updated" date above when we do, and, where required by law or where the change is material, will provide additional notice (for example, via an in-app notice or app store release notes).
