Net Framework 2.0 V 50727 Fix Download

I've tried changing my target framework for all of the possibilities (4.5, 4.0 full and client, 3.5 full and client, 3.0 and 2.0), building my DLL in debug and release and setting the "Generate serialization assembly" to OFF, also, changed the platform target from Any CPU to x86 and x64. I only tried changing the value of one setting at a time.

Anyway, it's strange that you have both .net frameworks on the machine and you experience these problems. If you run into an issue again, please provide us with log files. You can also open a support case so we can track the issue and improve our installers.

Dear all,

I wish to install mpich2 for windows. For running lammps with MPI library.

the msi install file downloaded from the windows page of Lammps requires .NET framework 2.0.50727.

Is it really needed on windows 10? If yes the current version being 4.71, is it also suitable for mpich2 or is the 2.0.50727 version mandatory ?

Should I install MPICH2 first and then windows lammps_mpi pre-binary or the order has no importance ?

There are several puzzling things about this; the ASP.Net project was a .Net 2.0 ASMX so it was using C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727. If it updated to x64 without asking me, should it not use C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\? Where is C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\ coming from?

In this situation, you may notice that the performance counter "ASP.NET Apps v2.0.50727(__Total__)\Sessions Active" sometimes shows an unreasonably high value. For example, the value that is shown is 4294967267.

I keep getting a pop up window for "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\InstallUtil.exe" and cant find a way to correct the installation or remove it. HP customer support says to go through HP Smart Friend (new way to create revenue by making HP owners pay to get help with their computer) Does anyone have a fix for this pop up window error?

That definitly sounds like the issue to me. But I'm not sure what flexibility I have in setting the framework. I assumed it was at 2.0. How can I confirm/change my IP setting for the framework version?

If you see my prior post, it won't allow you to uninstall and reinstall the framework unless you completely remove SQL Server and it's components...so i didn't go that route. I can't 100% remember right now but I believe just restarting the MSSQL service may have done the trick

i just notices that the guide he set me works but when i do this commad "aspnet_regiis.exe -r" it works but it not registing the right one i need it to do 2.0.50727 but it doing the newest one asp.net 4.0.3019.0

1. Open the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

2. Right-click the Web Sites folder and select Properties.

3. Click the ISAPI Filters tab. This tab should contain an entry for ASP .NET 2.0. If the entry does not exist, you need to re-register .NET Framework 2.0 with IIS. Proceed to the To register .NET Framework 2.0 with IIS section below.

4. Navigate to the Sophos NAC virtual directory.

5. Right-click Sophos NAC and select Properties.

6. Click the Documents tab.

7. Verify that default.aspx or Default.aspx is listed. If there is another case variation of default.aspx in the list, note the case variation and provide it to technical support if you cannot resolve the issue with these instructions.

8. If default.aspx or Default.aspx is not listed, click Add, type default.aspx or Default.aspx, and click OK.

9. Click the ASP.NET tab.

10. Verify that the ASP.NET version is 2.0.50727.

11. If the version is not set correctly, select the 2.0.50727 version from the list box and click OK. If the version is not available, you need to re-register .NET Framework 2.0 with IIS. Proceed to the To register .NET Framework 2.0 with IIS section below.

12. If the version is set correctly, click Cancel.

13. Locate and click the Web Service Extensions folder.

14. Verify that ASP.NET version 2.0.50727 is listed and the extension status is set to Allowed. If the extension status is set to Prohibited, change it to Allowed. If the extension is set to Prohibited, note this information and provide it to technical support if you cannot resolve the issue with these instructions. 1. Open a command prompt.

2. Change the directory to %SYSTEMROOT%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727. If this directory does not exist, you need to install .NET Framework 2.0.

3. Type "aspnet_regiis.exe -r". This process takes a few minutes to complete.

4. Restart the server. If the problem persists after this registration, consider repairing Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or downloading Microsoft .NET
