NET 100 is required for all college students, and would preferably be completed after junior year. This course teaches students about networking skills, how to foster connections with employers, and professional etiquette. Students will then practice maintaining these realtionships, and how to retain business relationships.
What Will Students Do and Learn?
Students will learn how to create their own online presence, engage with industrial professionals, and foster work-based connections. Additionally, the aspect of employer involvement will be integrated in the class by having employer-led events, guest lectures, and real-world case studies. NET 100 is a comprehensive approach to ensure students gain an understanding of networking and foundational skills with an official exposure into the professional world.
The class will be worth 1 credit for affordability and will meet once a week. NET 100 is not one standardized class, and will be offered in variations according to different departments/sub-colleges.
