Nest & Notion Planning Co. was founded by co-owners Katlyn and Thearie, lifelong collaborators who have been creating unforgettable moments together since high school — right here in small-town Ohio.

What began as a shared passion for bringing people together has grown into a love for crafting Pinterest-perfect events, TikTok-worthy treat spreads, and thoughtfully curated experiences that feel both elevated and personal. From large-scale celebrations to intimate gatherings, every detail is handled with care, creativity, and intention.

Katlyn’s heart for service extends beyond events. Growing up in a low-income household, she experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating finances while still opening your door to a village. Becoming a homeowner herself at just 22 inspired a desire to help others gain confidence for planning life on a budget through helpful tools, and practical planning strategies rooted in real-life experience and empathy. This is why our mission at Nest & Notion Planning Co is to have accessible packages tailored to each persons experience, allowing everyone to enjoy lifes biggest moments in a memorable and stress free way, that doesn't have to break the bank.

Thearie's passion for events stems from the ability of transforming any celebration into thoughtfully curated experiences. She has always believed that the smallest details make the biggest impact; whether she's planning an imaginative birthday party for her daughter, hosting a themed girls' craft night, or bringing a clients vision to life. Thearie approaches every event with creativity, passion, and an eye for the details others might overlook. What some might call going above and beyond, she considers a commitment to giving every celebration the care and attention it deserves. 

Our mission is to joyfully serve others by creating memorable, stress-free experiences tailored to each client’s needs. Rooted in our Christian faith and guided by 1 Corinthians 10:31, we aim to glorify God through excellence, integrity, and thoughtful service.
