Namaste and Warm Welcome!
We are pleased to announce that the 11th Annual NEST Conference will be hosted by the School of Public Policy, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, from March 28-29, 2026.
This year's theme, "Interlinked Transitions: From Global Visions to Local Realities" invites ideas, debates, and reflections on how sustainability transitions unfold through the dynamic interplay between global frameworks and local contexts. The conference aims to foster dialogue on the pathways, policies, and practices shaping a just and sustainable future.
The Network of Early Career Researchers in Sustainability Transitions (NEST) is a global platform that brings together emerging scholars and practitioners working on sustainability transitions. The annual NEST Conference serves as its flagship event, hosted each year by a different university to encourage diverse regional perspectives and interdisciplinary collaboration. (Learn more about NEST here.)
The School of Public Policy (SPP) at IIT Delhi, this year’s host, is a leading centre for education, research, and practice at the intersection of Science, Technology, Innovation (STI), and Development. With its focus on policy-relevant research and interdisciplinary approaches, SPP provides an ideal setting for this year’s gathering of sustainability transition scholars.
